Why patients fly here for dentistry
The price gap is real
Specialist dental work in India costs a fraction of what it does in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and much of the Gulf - often enough that treatment and flights together still come to less than treatment alone at home.
No waiting list
You are not waiting months for a slot. We schedule around your travel dates and block out the time your case needs.
One specialist, start to finish
Complex root canal work, retreatment of failed root canals and implants are handled by Dr. Shipra Jain personally rather than passed between clinicians.
How long you need to stay
Typical trip lengths. Your own plan is confirmed in writing before you book flights.
Placement on the first trip, then healing at home for a few months before the crown is fitted on the second.
Most root canals finish in a single sitting under magnification, with the crown fitted a few days later.
Design approved first, then preparation and fitting across the same visit.
Preparation early in the trip, fitting before you fly home.
Complex cases are staged around your travel dates and shared with you in writing first.
The clinic you would be flying to
Booking treatment in another country means trusting photographs. These are ours - unedited, taken at the Sector 48 clinic. If you want to see anything specific before you commit, ask on WhatsApp and we will send it.

How it works
- 01
Send us your case
Message on WhatsApp with photos of your teeth and any X-ray or OPG you already have. Tell us roughly when you could travel.
- 02
Get a plan and a price
Dr. Shipra Jain reviews it personally and we send a written plan with the treatment, the number of visits and the full cost. No obligation, and no charge for this.
- 03
Book your trip
Once you are happy with the plan, we send a clinic letter for your visa and hold your appointment dates. Then book your flights.
- 04
Treatment in Gurugram
Examination and X-rays on day one to confirm the plan. If anything differs from what we expected, we tell you before starting, not after.
- 05
Aftercare at home
You leave with records and instructions for your own dentist, and we stay reachable on WhatsApp for questions once you are back.
What we arrange for you
- A written treatment plan and full cost estimate before you book flights
- A clinic letter for your medical visa application
- Appointments scheduled in blocks so your trip stays short
- Help finding a hotel or serviced apartment near the clinic
- Your records, X-rays and aftercare notes to take to your dentist at home
- Follow-up by WhatsApp or video call after you fly back
Visa and your stay
Most patients travel on India's e-Medical Visa. It is applied for online, and is usually valid for 60 days from your first arrival with multiple entry, with up to two family members able to apply for e-Medical Attendant visas alongside you. Visa rules change and vary by nationality, so confirm the current position on the government portal before you apply.
We send the clinic letter your application needs once your treatment dates are agreed. For your stay, Sector 48 and Sohna Road have hotels and serviced apartments within a short drive of the clinic, and we are happy to point you towards ones our patients have used.
Official India e-Visa portalQuestions patients ask before travelling
Do I need a medical visa to come for dental treatment?
Most patients travel on India's e-Medical Visa, which is usually valid for 60 days from first arrival with multiple entry, and allows up to two accompanying attendants on e-Medical Attendant visas. Rules change, so check the official portal at indianvisaonline.gov.in for your nationality before applying. We provide the clinic letter you need to support the application.
How far is the clinic from the airport?
We are in Sector 48, Gurugram, on Sohna Road - roughly 45 minutes by road from Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, depending on traffic. Our address is 11B, Ground Floor, Vipul Trade Center, Dhani, Sector 48, Gurugram, Haryana 122018.
What language will I be treated in?
Consultations and treatment are carried out in English and Hindi. Everything we send you in writing - plans, estimates and aftercare notes - is in English.
Can you tell me the cost before I fly?
Yes, and we prefer to. Send photos and any X-rays you have and we send a written estimate before you commit to anything. On arrival we examine you and confirm the plan; if anything needs to change, we tell you the revised cost before treatment starts.
Can everything be done in one trip?
Root canals, crowns and veneers usually can. Implants normally cannot - the bone needs a few months to heal around the implant before the crown goes on, so most implant patients travel twice. We will tell you honestly which applies to your case.
What if there is a problem after I return home?
Message us on WhatsApp and Dr. Shipra Jain will advise. You will have your full records and X-rays to hand to a local dentist, which is what makes remote follow-up workable.
Who will actually treat me?
Dr. Shipra Jain (BDS, MDS), an Endodontist, leads every complex case personally, supported by visiting specialists for orthodontics, surgery and paediatric work.
Start with a plan, not a plane ticket
Send photos and any X-rays you have. You will get a written plan and a full cost from Dr. Shipra Jain before you spend anything on travel.
