Crowns and Bridges in Gurgaon
A crown is a custom cap that restores a broken, root-canal-treated or heavily filled tooth to full strength and beauty. A bridge uses crowns on neighbouring teeth to replace one that is missing.
We work with quality labs and modern materials - full ceramic and zirconia for lifelike front teeth, and robust options for heavy chewing at the back.

A crown is a cover that restores a tooth which has too little structure left to survive on its own - after a large fracture, a very deep filling, or a root canal on a back tooth. It takes the chewing load off the weakened tooth and spreads it around the outside, which is what stops the tooth splitting.
A bridge replaces a missing tooth by joining crowns on the teeth either side. It is fixed, it looks natural, and it is quicker than an implant. The trade-off is real and worth understanding before you agree to one: the supporting teeth have to be cut down, even if they are perfectly healthy, and they then carry the work of three teeth between them.
Most of the difference in how long these last comes down to the margin - the join where the crown meets the tooth at the gum line. A margin that is even slightly open collects plaque and lets decay in underneath, where you cannot see it and cannot clean it. That is preparation and finishing work, done under magnification, and it is where the time goes.
Why patients choose us for this
Protects weak teeth
A crown holds a cracked or root-treated tooth together, preventing fracture and extraction.
Natural aesthetics
Modern zirconia and e.max ceramics are indistinguishable from natural enamel.
Fixed replacement
A bridge restores a missing tooth without surgery - fixed in place, nothing removable.
What to expect
- 01
Preparation
The tooth is shaped under local anaesthesia and a precise impression or scan is taken.
- 02
Temporary
A temporary crown protects the tooth while your final one is crafted.
- 03
Lab crafting
Your crown or bridge is custom-made to match shade and bite.
- 04
Fitting
The final restoration is checked, adjusted and permanently cemented.
Your options
Zirconia
Very strong and metal-free, suitable for back teeth and heavy grinders. The usual recommendation where strength matters most.
Layered ceramic
The most natural-looking option for front teeth, where matching translucency to the teeth beside it matters more than raw strength.
Metal-ceramic
A tried and tested combination with a metal core under a ceramic surface, still a sensible choice in some back-tooth situations.
How long it takes
Usually two visits about a week apart: preparation and impressions at the first, fitting at the second, with a temporary crown in between. Adjustments at the fitting are normal and included.
What it costs
The fee depends on the material and how many units are involved - a three-unit bridge is three crowns joined together. The written estimate names the material so you know exactly what you are getting.

What the next few days actually look like, so nothing comes as a surprise.
- The temporary crown is deliberately weakly cemented; avoid sticky food and lift floss out sideways rather than snapping it up
- Some sensitivity to cold in the first week or two is normal
- Tell us if the bite feels high, even slightly - a crown a fraction too tall causes soreness and is a two-minute adjustment
- Clean under a bridge daily with a floss threader or interdental brush; this is what determines how long it lasts
Frequently asked questions
How long do crowns last?
10-15 years is typical; well-maintained zirconia crowns often last much longer.
Which is better - a bridge or an implant?
An implant avoids preparing the neighbouring teeth and preserves bone, but a bridge is faster and avoids surgery. We will explain both for your case.
Will the crown match my other teeth?
Yes - shade is matched carefully and modern ceramics replicate the translucency of natural enamel.
How long do crowns last?
Well-made crowns commonly last ten to fifteen years or more. What ends them is usually decay at the margin rather than the crown itself wearing out - so cleaning at the gum line matters more than anything.
Will it look like my other teeth?
That is the aim, and for front teeth we match shade and translucency to the neighbouring teeth before the crown is made. Bring up any concerns at the try-in stage, when changes are still easy.
Bridge or implant?
An implant leaves the neighbouring teeth untouched and is usually the better long-term choice. A bridge is faster and avoids surgery. If the adjacent teeth already need crowns, a bridge often makes more sense.
