From the Uniworld Gardens and Malibu Towne side we are a straight run south down Sohna Road; from the eastern blocks it is quicker to come through Sector 49 and join at Vatika Chowk. Either way it is under ten minutes when the road is clear.

The sector is dense with apartment towers, and the people in them are mostly working long days in Cyber City, Udyog Vihar or Golf Course Road. What that means for us is a lot of 7pm and 8pm appointments, a lot of requests to finish a course of treatment in as few visits as possible, and a fair amount of cosmetic work - whitening before a wedding, a chipped front tooth, a filling that shows when you smile.
It also means sensitive teeth. Cold coffee, whitening strips bought online, over-enthusiastic brushing with a hard brush - the pattern is common enough here that we now ask about it at the first visit rather than waiting to be told.

A tooth that zings with cold has a reason - exposed root, worn enamel, a crack, a leaking filling. Desensitising toothpaste treats the symptom. Finding the reason is a five minute exam and usually a simpler fix than people expect.

- 1From the Sohna Road end, head south towards Vatika Chowk on the main carriageway.
- 2The clinic is on the west side, so take the U-turn at Vatika Chowk and come back up the northbound service lane for about 600 metres.
- 3From the eastern blocks, cut through Sector 49 to Vatika Chowk instead and turn north - it saves the loop.

Subhash Chowk backs up between 6 and 8pm. If you are leaving after work, the Sector 49 route to Vatika Chowk is usually the quieter one.

- In-clinic whitening is a single appointment of about an hour, after a check-up to confirm the teeth are suitable. A take-home kit takes one to two weeks at your own pace.
- Will a white filling last as long as a silver one?
- In a small to medium cavity, yes. Very large fillings in back teeth are a different conversation, and sometimes a crown is the honest answer.
