Cosmetic Smile Designing in Gurgaon

Smile designing is the architecture of cosmetic dentistry: instead of treating one tooth at a time, we plan your whole smile - proportion, symmetry, shade and lip line - and then combine the right treatments to achieve it.

A smile makeover may involve whitening, veneers, alignment, gum contouring or replacement of old discoloured fillings. The plan is yours to approve before any treatment begins.

Drag the handle to compare. Smile design plans shape, shade and proportion together.

Smile design is planning before treatment. Rather than improvising tooth by tooth, we photograph your face and smile, measure proportions, look at how much tooth shows when you speak and smile, and design the result first. You see and approve that design before anything is done to a tooth.

The reason this matters is that a smile is judged as a whole, not as individual teeth. Length relative to the lip, the curve of the tooth edges against the lower lip, midline position, how much gum shows - these decide whether a result looks natural or looks like dental work. Perfectly white, perfectly identical teeth are exactly what people notice as fake.

The design also determines how conservative treatment can be. Sometimes the answer is veneers; often it is a combination of whitening, reshaping the edges and one or two bonded repairs, keeping far more of your own tooth. A plan tells you which - and lets you decide with the picture in front of you.

Your options

Digital design and mock-up

Photographs and measurements produce a proposed smile you can see, and in many cases try on temporarily in the mouth before committing.

Conservative route

Whitening, edge reshaping and bonding - minimal tooth removal, reversible in parts, and often enough on its own.

Veneers or crowns

Where teeth are worn, discoloured through their thickness, or misshapen, and reshaping cannot achieve the design.

How long it takes

A consultation and photographs, then the design discussion at a second visit. Treatment length depends on what you choose - from a single visit for reshaping and whitening to several weeks for veneers.

What it costs

Because plans differ so much, the cost is quoted against your approved design rather than as a package. You will see the full breakdown, itemised by tooth, before any treatment starts.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a smile makeover cost?

It depends entirely on which treatments your design requires. After your consultation you receive a complete written plan and cost - no obligation.

How long does smile designing take?

Simple makeovers (whitening + bonding) can finish within a week. Full veneer cases typically take 2-3 weeks.

Will the result look natural?

That is the entire point of designing rather than just treating - proportions and shade are matched to your face, not to a template.

Can I see the result before committing?

Yes - that is the point of designing first. In many cases we can also place a temporary mock-up over your teeth so you can see it in your own face and change your mind.

Will it look obviously done?

Not if it is designed properly. Natural smiles have slight variation in length and shade, and we build that in deliberately.

Do I have to do everything at once?

No. A plan can be staged over months or years, which many patients prefer. Having the plan means each stage fits the final result rather than being improvised.
